FOSH is now feeding up to 16 hungry seniors twice a week.
Because we know that hunger is a serious matter among people of all ages in Haiti and particularly in Hinche and its nearby areas, we try to run the program in secret to prevent other people from coming to our place looking for food. To our surprise, on the days we serve the meals, an average of 15 elders show up regularly begging for food. Our staff report that some of them continue to come even though they had to leave many times empty handed. Over the weeks, we then felt compelled to add 6 more people among them a middle aged disabled woman.
With your support we can bring hope to many more.
