Feeding Our Seniors in Haiti (FOSH)

Thanks to a group of 6 volunteers in Haiti, on September 11th of 2020, we were able to serve the first meal to 10 of the neediest people recruited by our staff in Hinche.

FOSH is the first outreach program to provide regular meals to seniors in Haiti. Coming from Haiti we know that the majority of the population work independently as farmers and have to sell their harvest to meet their needs. We also know that in the Haitian society there is no form of help whatsoever that is implemented to support them when they can no longer work. It’s unacceptable and inhuman to let them starve and die alone. We are dedicated not only to make sure that they eat a daily meal but also to become their voice in a society which tends to be deaf to their cries.
